Overcome By A Revelation

Had an amazing time presenting Revelation this past weekend in Middle River, MD just outside of Baltimore. The presentation was again done in two parts; in the Sunday morning service I did chapters 1-11, and for the evening service chapters 12-22.

I was overcome by emotion, and had to pause to gather my composure during the final verses where the Apostle John invites "anyone who is thirsty, anyone who wishes to take the free gift of the water of life". It hit me harder than ever before just how much God longs for us to take His free gift. Afterall, he gave His Son up to die for us so that we could have the water of life free of charge. I believe He weeps for those who refuse His gift.

Bursting out in tears and weeping openly to a crowd of strangers on stage is not something I'm personally in the habit of doing, or comfortable with. But God was answering my prayer: that I would dissapear so that He could talk freely to people through His Word. I'm usually asking for prayer that I will speak God's Word boldly, but I never imagined it would require me to be so intimate with the audience. It was humbling, but when I speak His Word, I feel His pleasure.

Afterwards I heard many testimonies from people in the audience, and we saw 6 more children sponsored through Food For  The Hungry! I drove home with a sense of peace and contentment knowing that I was made to be at that place, speaking those words, right at that time.

Please pray for me this weekend when I'll be at Deltona Alliance Church in Deltona, FL (just outside Orlando) presenting Revelation again.
